As a property manager, I’m always on the lookout for reliable lighting solutions for areas where running electrical isn’t practical, and this solar porch light genuinely exceeded my expectations.Right out of the box, I was surprised by the weight and build quality. It’s not the lightweight plastic fixture I was expecting, it actually feels solid and well made, which gives me a lot more confidence putting it on rental properties.The separate solar panel is a big plus because it allows for much better placement to catch sunlight, even if the fixture itself needs to be installed in a shaded or awkward spot. The motion sensor works reliably and gives a good sense of security without staying on unnecessarily, which helps with efficiency.I also really appreciate that the battery is replaceable. That’s something a lot of cheaper solar lights skip, and it makes a big difference for long-term use and maintenance planning across multiple properties.Installation was straightforward, and it performs well lighting up entryways, porches, and darker exterior areas that don’t have easy access to power. It’s not trying to be overly fancy, but it does exactly what I need it to do: dependable, motion-activated lighting without running electrical.Overall, this is a strong, practical option for anyone managing properties or just trying to light up outdoor spaces without the hassle of wiring.

Nice solar charging porch light. Waterproof and durable. The frame is made of metal with glass panels. The battery is able to be replaced if needed but comes already installed. The high-efficiency light bulb is also included in the pacage, as is the mounting screws. Easy to assemble, all you have to do is screw the cable for the solar panel into the connect cable that is attached to the light. The sensor is on the top of the light. The light measures 11" L x 6" W x 6" H, and is durable but not too heavy. Comes with easy to follow directions and easy to mount. The cord between the light and the lamp is about 10 feet long.This light has the ability to set on 3 different settings....just constant light, no light but on during motion, and dim light then bright with motion. I did test this in all modes. My preference is to have no light and it come on during motion, but the light is only on for as long as there is motion.....if you stop to dig out keys it kicks off, there is no 1 minute timer like so many other motion lights....I did not like this feature. I used it with all light and did not loose light before morning, the charge held well. My preferred setting is low light that gets bright with motion. The low light is a cool light and not super bright but enough to see since I live in a rural area. When motion is detected, the light gets bright.All-in-all this is a good light and I am pleased with it. I think it is a good value, the battery holds well and it is durable. I recommend this solar charge light.

We wanted to add a cute solar light that had motion detection to our chicken coop and this light has worked perfectly so far. It is on the heavier side so it is easy to tell it is made with quality materials.They include a mounting diagram so the installation is quick and easy for both the light and the solar panel. The cable to the solar panel is long enough that it gives a good amount of flexibility in placement.We have it set to dim, then bright when it detects motion and that has been a great setting for us. When it detects motion it is surprisingly bright and it lights up the area well even on the dim setting. The battery life seems great, although I have not stayed up all night to see if it works until morning. It is always going strong by the time we go to bed which is about 4-5 hours after it turns on.The little motion sensor does light up red and flashes a few times when it detects motion. At first, I didn’t care for that but after some thought I think it is a good feature. It may help ward off intruders because it kinda looks like the blinking red of a camera. Not sure if that was the point or not.With all of the feature it has, I think it is a great value. It works well, looks great, and uses solar power so no worrying about wiring or batteries.

This solar light is very robust just as heavy as a standard outdoor light fixture so this should be able to resist any type of weather that’s thrown at it. It comes with a solar panel that you would mount away from it so you could hide it up on the roof or under an eve as long as it’s receiving sun to charge the battery which is located at the backside of this porch light. There’s an on and off button on the front of the light, which is a very small like translucent button and that goes through the settings on it because it does have a sensor which allows the light to go on and off at dusk to dawn. It looks fantastic and I’m pretty sure this is real glass that they used around the light. Install is just two screws into wherever you’re mounting it and it’s slide right over those and then you run the wiring for the solar panel and place the solar panel with two screws and then aim the solar panel towards Sunlight so what’s the solar panel is mounted you’re still able to tilt it so as sunlight changes throughout the year, you’ll be able to adjust your solar panel. I had it out in the sun for just about an hour and it didn’t receive enough charge. I am assuming that it’s gonna take one to two days to fully charge and I’m gonna have my mounted in a semi shady area. But the quality and size of this is fantastic again it’s the size of a real porch light so nobody’s gonna know that it’s a solar light other than the wire that’s coming out of the top.

I ordered the OKELI Porch Lights Outdoor Dusk to Dawn Motion Sensor Solar Wall Lantern Separate Panel & Battery Replaceable Exterior Waterproof Wall Sconce Lighting Lamp (Black A, 1 Pack).My yards have had endless solar lights for years, and I was excited to get this large porch light since it was different than a lot of my other ones since you can replace the battery and light bulb.When this arrived, I was surprised how heavy duty it was, and it's much better quality than my other types of solar lights. This has actual glass, not plastic, and it's made out of a heavier metal. It feels like an actual porch light not a replica trying to be one, but you don't have to worry about having skills or hiring someone to help you install it.I always make sure I charge this in a full day sun for first use for good battery etiquette. I do not plan on installing this to the wall because I'm constantly moving my solar lights around switching things up. Initially, I thought I was going to put this on the front porch, but because I spend most of my time in the backyard, I ended up putting it back there while setting it on an unused hose reel. I have some other ideas how I could set it in that space, but for now it's effortless to just set it there. If I did attach it somewhere, installation does look easy enough.What is great about this is the cord to the solar panel is really long. This is perfect for having it anywhere around my house because my eaves block sunlight from anything that is installed on the outside of the house unless they are on the gutters or higher. I don't have many solar lights that can work when they are completely out of the elements unless they have a long cord like this one.This actually is a pretty bright light. Not only does it look sharp and classy, it puts out a decent amount of light. It's bright enough right now where I have it, and I know it would illuminate even more if it was higher up like a typical porch light.There are a couple different modes, and the brightest one that stays on continuously obviously wouldn't last as long as the other ones. I prefer to keep mine on a dimmer setting that still is bright, but when motion is detected, it illuminates to the brightest setting. There is a red light that lights up on the unit when motion is activated, and it seems to be a decent sensitivity level.Solar lights are a passion of mine since they just make my life better adding joy to it in my yard, but they are also great if they last to save money on utility bills, and they are nice to have when the power goes out. However, I do live in a cold and rainy climate, so they can only do so much. Longevity is what most of us want to know about when we order solar lights, and all I can share right now is my experience with my early review since I can't speak about longevity until it has been reached. I always come back and update when I notice something positive or negative, especially regarding my solar lights. As of right now, I'm very happy with the quality of this product and its capabilities, thank you.

This was JUST what I was looking and for needed. There are not many options for solar porch lights. Most look like security spot lights, which is NOT the look I wanted. Looks great, has 3 lighting settings and it stays lit all night, even when the day was over-cast, not full sun. Hope it holds up - I’ve had it installed for one month and I am very happy with this purchase.
