Modern Chandelier Ceiling Light Fixture 5-Light Mid Century Classic Contemporary Sputnik Chandelier

Love the look of this Sputnik however it was such a pain to put together… the threading on gold dowels did not match the threading on the chandelier ball hole so it had to keep trying other dowels to get them to screw in. I didn’t have to read directions as I pretty much figured each hole and which dowel went into it, I rotated between the glass dowel and the solid gold with the two metal rings, so that was easy to figure out, but this thing took me over 45 minutes just to put it together, and I still have it sitting on my kitchen counter countertop because I am dreading putting it up on the ceiling.. I gave it four stars because it is such a pain with trying to screw in each of the dowels because they don’t screw in easily and I had to keep trying other ones…I think that this will be perfect for my staircase landing, which is probably 12 feet tall once I get the courage to actually hang this up (aka have my husband do it!) I will definitely come back and update, but I wanted to make sure I made it aware that it IS difficult to put together.I can say the size of this thing is perfect for a large area. I don’t think this would work very well in a small room or in a smaller dining room room as it is very large! It does come with multiple down rods so you can make this pretty long and in my case it will be hanging at least 12 feet high so the extra downrods are awesome to have!

This was a relatively difficult install. The directions aren’t very clear so it took some time figuring out how to put this light fixture together. All pieces were individually wrapped and in pieces.Trying to wire it together was also a guessing game because normal house wiring is black (hot), white (neutral), and copper (ground). On the fixture it was marked with (+) and (-) which isn’t the same as that of the standard house wiring so I had to use a touchless voltage tester. If the threads in the fixture lit up the wires are crossed. So that was fun testing. The screws in the mounting bracket cover to hang the fixture wasn’t long enough so I had to get one longer to get the cover to go on. I also broke 2 of the glass rods trying to hang it.Aside from the long and annoying install —Once on it looks nice and the quality seems good. The value for the money is there. Again the biggest complaint which is why I dinged it 2 stars is the install instructions were terrible

This is an interesting light. Its very artistic and at a decent price. Its well made and works well. Easy to install if you have any type of experience with that type of thing. Its easy to operate and lights the room up very well.

This is one of those statement piece light fixtures that creates a symphony of gorgeous light all over your room. Who doesn't love a Sputnik chandelier? This five light fixture is indeed robust in size at a whopping 30 inches wide, 32.7 inches high, and 62.2 inches to ceiling max with the adjustable cord.I was almost hesitant to not give this five stars because the assembly was such a nightmare, for someone who hates puzzles, however, that does not reflect how absolutely stunning and luxurious this chandelier is! So it gets a solid five stars from me.My husband and I are renovating our mid-century modern home with all mid-century fixtures so this gorgeous Sputnik chandelier fit the bill! As an interior designer, I am beyond picky with what light fixtures I put into my home. I was taught a long time ago by my design professor, that if you do not have good lighting, then you will not be able to see the beauty of your design. He was so right, and that is one thing that has stuck with me throughout the years. You must always purchase good lighting!Not only is this gorgeous chandelier a statement piece, it also models as a gorgeous piece of art; rest assured this beauty will be the topic of any conversation. I'm telling you it is that opulent!Again, if you can get through the assembly, the installation is pretty straightforward, if you have never installed a hardwired light fixture, then simply look it up on YouTube, the instructions are very easy, and just take all necessary, safety precautions.If you are looking at this light fixture and are on the fence, I'm telling you right now go ahead and purchase it! It is THAT beautiful and visually stunning!

This is a beautiful light. Well worth the price. It’s so unique, seeks well made and durable. Easy to assemble, have not installed it yet. It’s a good size, could be used for an intro or above dining table. Came well packaged with no damage
